About

About this site

RecyclingContracts explains the agreements under which a business is paid for its recyclables, from the side of the business that generates them, and does the arithmetic on the terms it is offered.

What it covers

Rebate, buy-back and offtake agreements for baled cardboard, stretch film, pallets, gaylord boxes, IBC totes, drums and similar materials: the pricing formula and every clause that changes it. It does not cover waste-hauling service contracts, where the business pays; those are the subject of wastecontracts.com.

How bid requests are handled

When you send a bid request, it is passed to buyers who bid on that material, who contact you with offers. This site is not a buyer or a broker, does not take title to material and does not take a share of any price. You decide whether to accept any offer.
